Applications are invited for the following
posts on the prescribed application form so as to reach
this office latest by 16-06-2006. The application
form may be obtained either personally from the cashier,
Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on payment of Rs.
150/- at the counter or by post from the Assistance
Registrar (General), Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
by making a written request accompanied by a self
addressed stamped (worth Rs.10/-) envelope of 23x10 cms
alongwith a demand draft for Rs. 150/- drawn in
favour of the “Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University
Amritsar. For the post of Lecturers, the selection
shall be made on the basis of the criteria (score card)
approved by the University, a copy of which can be had
alongwith the application form or downloaded from the
University website

Note:
- Copy of circular, containing detailed instructions,
qualifications, etc for the posts, will supplied alongwith

- Score card and the Proforma regarding score card
(to be filled in by the candidates for the posts of
lecturers and required to be sent alongwith the application
form) will also be supplied alongwith application

- The candidates are required to apply separately
for each post earmarked for each Deptt/station.
- Incomplete applications in any respect or without
the prescribed fee or received after the due date
will not be entertained.
- The qualifications for all the teaching posts are as per
UGC norms.
- The qualification for the post of Reader
(Computer Science & Engg.), Lecturer (Architecture and GRD School of Planning are as per UGC/AICTE norms).
- University reserves the right to fill or not to
fill up the posts and to call only suitable candidates
for interview.
- Practical/Written Test will be held wherever necessary.
