The department has to its credit
being the premier center for research in sports
sciences. The various faculty members are pursuing
research in their fields of interest. At present
the department is engaged in research in the fields
of Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Neurophysiology,
Sports Traumatology, Physical Medicine etc.
Prof. J.S. Sandhu is undertaking a collaborative
project on Neuroprosthetics with the University
of Utah, USA.
